Scott was so very helpful. My daughter is there for college and I’m far away and he made me feel very confident in his ability to make sure our daughter’s car is safe and taken care of. We had a tricky issue and Scott was persistent in finding how to fix it. Such a relief!! Big huge thank you to Scott

My daughter and I were driving from Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo when our car began to malfunction. We randomly selected 5 Star Auto Repair and Scott quickly assessed our issue, reset our sensor, added coolant, and pinpointed our leaking water pump. Scott has us back on the road in quick time, was extremely polite & professional, as was Wesley who also assisted. If we lived in the Santa Barbara area they would ABSOLUTELY be our go to family mechanic!!!. Thank you, Scott & Wesley, you make selecting 5 Star a no trainer! Da Best!

This company is aptly named. I went to Scott after getting the run around by the dealer. I was having an issue with passing emissions and some junk code blocking it. They quickly diagnosed it correctly, repaired it, and it passed smog with no issues. They kept me informed the entire time and super friendly and courteous. Excellent value for the money. They are the benchmark of how it is supposed to be when you need a mechanic!

5 Star Auto Repair always takes care of us! We had some major A\C issues and decided to switch over from the Ford Dealership and never looked back! The customer care and attention has been refreshing! They treat people with care the “local way.” They know what they are doing and how to treat you right! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid, professional, local mechanic!

I believe I found my trusted mechanics. Scott and Javier were great. They were friendly and honest. They gave me the feeling that they really care about making sure their customers are safe on the road. I highly recommend this shop, especially to women. Sometimes women are treated not-so-great when trying to care for our vehicles. Scott and his mechanics did not make me feel that way. I felt heard, respected, and treated fairly. They took care of my Ray Ray (car) and I trust they will continue to do right by us both in the future.
